Secured bail for our client, xyz, in a case involving alleged financial irregularities of approximately ₹11.50 crores, before the Ld. Sessions Judge, Patiala House Court.
On behalf of the accused, we challenged the prosecution’s stand, highlighting the Investigating Officer’s biased and high-handed approach. We emphasized that despite the seriousness of the allegations, the prosecution failed to establish any compelling ground for continued custody. It was submitted that the accused satisfied the triple test for bail—no flight risk, no scope of tampering with evidence, and no influence on witnesses—along with pointing out the delay in investigation and his full cooperation.
Considering these submissions and the overall circumstances, the Hon’ble Court was pleased to allow the bail application.
